Sebastian Montoya is a highly skilled Colombian racing driver, born on 11 April 2005 in Miami, USA. Sebastian Montoya, son of the renowned Formula 1 and Indy 500 winner Juan Pablo Montoya, has quickly built his own name in international motorsport. He began his career in karting, where his natural speed and racing instinct were evident from a young age. With an impressive karting record across Europe and the Americas, Montoya made a seamless transition into single-seaters, continuing to demonstrate his competitiveness and precision behind the wheel.
In 2020, Sebastian made his debut in Formula 4, racing in both the Italian and German F4 Championships. His performances attracted significant attention, leading to his recognition as one of the most promising young drivers in the paddock. His progression through the junior categories, including the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA) has been characterised by determination, adaptability and maturity far beyond his years.
In 2024, Montoya continued his ascent through the ranks with Campos Racing in FIA Formula 3, notably securing a hard-fought podium finish (2nd place) during the Spa-Francorchamps Feature Race and finishing the season with 40 points.
